Mamma Surrogata

A surrogate mother is a woman who carries and gives birth to a child for another person or couple who cannot conceive or carry a pregnancy to term. Surrogacy is an assisted reproductive technology that can help couples and individuals who struggle with infertility or other medical conditions to have a child that is biologically related to them.

There are two types of surrogacy: traditional surrogacy and gestational surrogacy. In traditional surrogacy, the surrogate mother is inseminated with the intended father's sperm or donor sperm, which means that the child will be genetically related to the surrogate mother. In gestational surrogacy, the surrogate mother carries an embryo created using the intended parents' or donors' eggs and sperm, which means that the child will not be genetically related to the surrogate mother.

Surrogacy can be a complex and emotionally charged process, and it is important for all parties involved to have a clear understanding of their rights and responsibilities. Many couples and individuals turn to surrogacy as a way to fulfill their dreams of starting a family, and surrogate mothers play a crucial role in helping them achieve this goal.
